Dawn Lorraine Delker (Tom), 84 yrs, of Monroe, died Sunday February 17, 2019, in Toledo Hospital, OH. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Friday February 22, 2019, from 2-8PM. She will lie-in-state on Saturday February 23, 2019, in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, MI, from 10 AM until the services at 11 AM. Pastor Ted Kerr III will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, MI.
Born July 17, 1934, in Monroe, MI. Dawn was the daughter of Charles and Stella (Oerther) Tom. She was a 1952 Airport High School Graduate. She worked for The Ford Motor Company for 5 yrs and then worked for Tenneco Automotive for 26 yrs, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, where she held Church Counsel Secretary and Treasurer Position, was part of Bible Study, Soropotomist Organization and the American Cancer Society. She was an avid reader who loved to garden and shop for antiques.
Survivors include: daughters, Valeri (Lawrence) Mangindin, Kristy (Vic Jr.) Lucarelli; sister, Joyce (Tom) Norman; grandchildren, Kersten Mangindin, Dana Mangindin, Katherine (Robert) Sharp, Victor Lucarelli III, Nicholas Lucarelli, Eric Lucarelli; brother-in-law, Robert (Carol) Delker; many well-loved nieces, nephews and cherished friends. She was preceded in death by parents, a son, Craig Delker and brothers, Darwin and Lyle Tom.
