Bonadel "Bonnie" Hazel Leonard (Adler), 97 yrs of Monroe, MI, died Saturday July 10, 2021, at ProMedica Skilled Nursing Rehab, Monroe, MI. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Mi, Wednesday July 14, 2021, from 2-8PM. She will lie-in-state on Thursday July 15, 2021 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, MI, from 10 AM until the services at 11 AM. Pastor Ted Kerr III will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Petersburg, MI.

Born August 12, 1923 in Summerfield Twp. Bonnie was the daughter of Albert and Hazel (Hoffman) Adler. She was a 1941 Ida High School Graduate. She married Donald Leonard on January 31, 1948 in Monroe, MI. Donald died October 8, 1972. She worked for Lake Stamping, Monroe, MI for 5 yrs. Bonnie was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, MI, where she served on the WELCA and the Altar Guild, she was a member of Farm Bureau and the 4-H Leader for 20 years. Bonnie loved to cook, watch TV, needle point, play cards, help on the farm (drive tractor), garden, spend time at the Dundee Senior Citizen's Center and go to the lake.

Survivors include: sons, Richard (Martha), Gerald (Jean); grandchildren, Nick, Jacob, Joshua; step-grandchildren, Hayden, Reid and several great-step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Charles, brother, Wayne Adler and special friend, Edwin Lyons.
