Daryl James Scott

Daryl James Scott 67yrs - of Rives Junction, MI - died Thursday, September 3rd, 2021, at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital, Coldwater, MI. A Celebration of Life gathering will take place on September 9th from 4-8 at The Brown Jug in Maybee, MI. Cremation has taken place.

Born December 31st, 1953, in Toledo, OH. Daryl was the son of Edwin "Donald" and Genevieve (Grodi) Scott. He was a 1971 Ida High School Graduate later attending Monroe County Community College.

He married Mary Gould on January 9th, 2000, in Monroe, MI. He was a machinist for over 40yrs working for Maumee Valley Fabrications and L.E. Warren Inc, Jackson, MI, retiring in 2016. Daryl loved fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling, the annual Florida Keys vacationing, and grandchildren’s sporting and extracurricular activity events.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Gould Scott; children: Brad (Ashley) Scott, Craig Scott, Courtland Halleck, Andrea Halleck; mother, Genevieve Scott; siblings: David (Diane) Scott, Linda Stotz, and grandchildren: Tanner Scott, Audra Scott, and Avery Halleck. Daryl was a very special uncle survived by his numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, brother-in-law Don Stotz, and nephew Ronald Strack.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
