Jennifer Lynn Bladzik

It is with great sadness that the family of Jennifer Lynn Bladzik, of Monroe, announces her passing on April 14, 2021, of natural causes, at the age of 52. Jennifer was born on December 30, 1968, in Manistee, Michigan to Dale and Linda (Markham) Bladzik. She was a 1987 graduate of Manistee High School, attended Ferris State College, and graduated from Siena Heights University, Adrian, Michigan. She married Jerry Lear in 1993. She was employed for 10 years at Michigan Gas Utilities, until she became a stay-at-home mother to her four beautiful children, for more than 15 years. Jennifer was a former member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church (formerly St. Joseph Catholic Church) in Ida, where she was a CCD teacher for several years, making a positive impact in shaping young lives in their walk of faith in the Catholic religion. She was an active parent in the Ida Public Schools Athletic, Band, and Drama programs. She was preceded in death by her parents and her faithful canine companion, Chloe.

Jennifer is survived by her former husband; son Cameron Lear; daughters Jordyn, Catryna, and Alexys Lear, all of Union, Kentucky. She is also survived by siblings, Sallie (Pete) Miller, Melissa (John) Gutowski, and Tom (Debbie) Bladzik, several nieces and nephews, and "chosen sister", Cindy Reuther. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service in Manistee, to be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to Gabby's Ladder, 2262 N. Monroe St. Monroe Mi 48162. Her family and friends will miss her fun, loving, and witty personality and will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
