Mary Lou Weatherholt of Ida, MI died on Sunday, 11/28/21 at Fountain View Of Monroe under the care of ProMedica Hospice. Friends may call Capaul Funeral Home on Monday, 12/6/21 from 2pm to 8pm. Mary will lie-in-state on Tuesday, 12/7/21 at St. Gabriel Catholic Parish / St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ida, MI from 10am until the Mass Of The Resurrection at 11am. Father Gerard Cupple will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery (Dundee, MI).
Born 08/31/1950 in Monroe, MI - Mary was the daughter of Russell and Ila (Van De Venter) Beasley. Mary was a 1968 Monroe High School Graduate who later attended MCCC. She married William "Tony" Weatherholt on 04/26/1986 at St. Michael Catholic Church (Monroe, MI). She worked for North Monroe Greenhouse and later was a secretary for Four Star Greenhouse until retiring in 2006. Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church (Ida, MI), member of the Christian Women, and a former Den Leader. She loved gardening, camping, and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and gave of herself selflessly to others. She frequently volunteered for church dinners and functions and would also cook or serve food to those less fortunate.
Survivors include - husband; Tony; children, Joel (Alexis) Weatherholt, Jeff Bohmer, Julie (Kevin) Kerfoot; brothers, Jim (Shirley) Beasley and Robert (Brenda) Beasley and grandchildren, Cameron, Madison, Dylan, Rilee, Owen, Addison, Madeline, Jackson, and Isabelle. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Roxanne.
