Roselyn Stella Sagan (Cousino)

Roselyn Stella Sagan (Cousino), 96 yrs, of Monroe, formerly of Ida, MI, died Friday December 10, 2021, in Wellsprings Lutheran Home, Monroe, MI. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Wednesday December 15, 2021, from 2-8PM. She will lie-in-state on Thursday December 16, 2021 from 10 AM until the Mass of the Resurrection at 11 AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI. Fr. Gerard Cupple will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Ida, MI.

Born July 5, 1925, in Erie, MI, Roselyn was the daughter of Clarence and Stella (Navarre) Cousino. She was a 1943 Ida High School graduate. She married Walter Sagan on October 12, 1946 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI. Walter died January 26, 1992. Roselyn worked for Gerth's Food Locker, owned Hickory Park Bar with her husband (1971-1978), and worked at Carl's Hideaway as a cook, retiring in 1996. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Christian Women, Lynn C Weeman Post 514 Auxiliary and loved playing bingo, ceramics, playing cards and spending time with her grandson.

Survivors include: children, Suzanne (Larry) Potter, Michael (Debbie) Sagan and grandson, Jeremy Potter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Woodrow Cousino, Vincent Cousino, Wallace Cousino, Marie Agnew and Virginia Domansky.
