Ruth Ann Reuhs (Parriet)

Ruth Ann Reuhs (Parriet), 73 yrs of Dundee, MI, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in Fountain View of Monroe. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 11 AM-8 PM. She will lie-in-state at West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ida, MI, Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 12PM until the services at 1 PM. Pastor Emily Frank will officiate. Burial will be in West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Born June 11, 1948, in Monroe, MI. Ruth was the daughter of Earl and Dorothy (McInnis) Parriet. She was a 1966 Monroe High School Graduate. She married Thomas Reuhs on July 11, 1970, in West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ida, MI. Thomas died on May 22, 2021. Ruth worked for Monroe County Bank eventually becoming Monroe Bank & Trust eventually becoming Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President of the Bank where she retired in 2016. Ruth helped to start the 4H "Busy Farmers" program. She was in charge of the Livestock Auction at the Monroe County Fair for over 20 yrs. A member of the ENLIST Group of Monroe Bank & Trust, a treasurer for West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, and loved to read, spend time with grandchildren, and be involved in Christmas in Ida Parade.

Survivors include her son, Matthew (Christen) Reuhs; siblings, John (Vivette) Parriet, David (Arlene) Parriet, Mary (Gary) Pinchoff, Linda Krueger; a grandchild, Sydney Ruehs and step-grandchildren, Ayden and Noah Bird. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
