Bernard George Ott

Bernard George Ott – 83 years of Temperance, MI – died Saturday October 29th, 2022, at Wellspring Lutheran Services in Monroe, MI. Cremation has occurred. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.

Born September 1st, 1939, in Carleton MI – Bernard was the son of Christ Ott and Helen Silberhorn. He married Lorraine Sroka on September 6th, 1958, in Ida, MI. Lorraine passed away on June 29th, 2017. Bernard was a brick layer for Bernard Ott Mason Contractor for 54 years retiring in 2012.

When Bernard wasn’t working, he loved to garden, hunt for arrowheads, attended flea markets, and enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends.

Survivors include: his sons Tim (Trina), Troy (Shely), Todd, and Tom (Beck) Ott, his daughter Tammie (Ron) Oberhaus, his brother Fritz Ott, his grandchildren Megan (Todd), Christopher, Cody (Stephanie), Jake (Ashley) Ben (Stephanie Shi), Zack (Alex Moore), Kennedy (Clint), Matt (Mariah), Kelsey (Drew), Justin (Kennedy Lints) Thomas Jr., Olvia, Grant, and Kyle, and his 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lorainne, his sisters Doris and Martha, and his brothers John and Richard.
