Harold Enoch Roth

Harold Enoch Roth 97 yrs of Ida, MI, died Saturday June 25th, 2022, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, OH. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Thursday June 30, 2022, from 2-8 PM. He will lie-in-state on Friday July 1, 2022, from 10 AM until the Mass of the Resurrection at 11 AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI. Fr. Gerard Cupple will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, MI.

Born December 17th, 1924, in Stringtown, IL. Harold was the son of Martin and Ida (Hahn) Roth. He was a 1943 Olney High School, IL, Graduate. He married Bettie Harmon in Olney, IL on September 30, 1946. Bettie died December 7, 1998. Harold was a furnace installer for Gogolin Heating and Cooling for 30 yrs retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, The Bedford Senior Center, helped with meals on wheels, loved to hunt, fish, travel (making it to 45 states and driving with Bettie 3 times to Alaska) and playing cards.

Survivors include: daughters, Vickie (Gerald) Brescol, Debbie (John) Gotts; grandchildren, Michelle Gossard, Abby Roth, Brandy Putman, William McMullen, Melissa Lay, Joe Ringbloom, Christina Ringbloom, Chad Kohler; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Susan Roth and siblings, Jerome (Natalie) Roth, Vergil (Leona) Roth, Eugene (Catherine) Roth, Vincent (Grace) Roth, Marjorie (Robert) Sampson, Roberta (Carl) Kurtz and Julietta Roth.
