Howard William Clark

Howard William Clark, 88 yrs, of Monroe, MI, formerly of Ida, MI, died Tuesday January 25, 2022, in ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital, Monroe, MI. Friends may gather at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Saturday January 29, 2022, from 2-8PM. There will be a visitation on Sunday January 30, 2022, at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, from 1PM until the services at 2PM. Cremation will follow.

Born March 31, 1933, in Ida, MI. Howard was the son of Wayne and Dorothy (Grosteffon) Clark. He served with the US Army. Howard married Jerry Shepherd on June 9, 1950 in Dillon, SC. Jerry died October 25, 2010. Howard worked for DANA, Toledo, Oh for 30 yrs. He loved to repair small engines, lawn mowers, puzzles, play cards and restore old tractors. In his early years he loved to ride his motorcycle, hunt and fish.

Survivors include: his children, Howard (Jayne) Clark, Kelly (Brenda) Clark, Jenny Trombley, Kelly McWilliams and Howard Trombley; grandchildren, Shasta Panza and Brandi Watson; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Sydnee, Mariah, Trent, Michaela, Tristin and Natallia and great-great grandchildren, Aubrey, Hazel and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, siblings, Kenneth, Arnold, Herbert, John, Phyllis, Dorothy and a grandchild, Tony.

In lieu of flowers make memorial contributions to the family or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
