John William Carr Jr., 71 yrs, of Ida, Mi, died Thursday October 13, 2022, in Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, OH. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Tuesday October 18, 2022, from 3-7PM. There will be a visitation on Wednesday October 19, 2022, at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, from 10 AM until the services at 11AM. Pastor Aaron Werner will officiate. Burial will be in Lulu Cemetery, Ida, MI. Born October 8, 1951, in Monroe, MI. John was the son of John and Verneal (Beal) Carr Sr. He attended Monroe High School. He was a lifelong truck driver who retired in 1999. He had a 45 year relationship with his love, Patricia Pushka since 1976. He loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, motorcycle rides, NASCAR, Indy car races, his pets, his family, and friends. Survivors include: his wife Patricia; son, Travis Carr and siblings, Jeff “Wade” Carr, Cheri Pfluge. He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, Paul and Marcianne Pushka; daughter, Tracy Carr and sister, Cindy Osgood. Memorial contributions can be made to: The Family.
