Peggy Ann Kimling (Clime)

Peggy Ann Kimling (Clime), 90 yrs, of Ida, MI, died Friday, April 29th, 2022, in Hickory Ridge Rehab, Temperance, MI. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Wednesday May 4, 2022, from 2-8PM. She will lie-in-state on Thursday May 5, 2022, in St. Gabriel Catholic parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI, from 10 AM until the Mass of the Resurrection at 11 AM. Fr. Gerard Cupple will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Ida, MI.

Born February 16th, 1932, in Raisinville, Twp, MI. Peggy was the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Weipert) Clime. She was a 1950 Ida High School Graduate. She worked at Clime Hardware in her early years. Peggy married Robert Kimling on May 30, 1953 and became a stay at home mom. Robert died August 26, 1994. Peggy was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI.

Peggy lived a life full of zest and love. There wasn’t a Christmas, birthday or holiday that went by where she insisted on a house full of family surrounding her. Christmas was her most favorite with the lights, gifts and family paper fights. No matter how large the crowd, her door was always open. In her earlier years she loved camping, hosting garage sales and meeting new and old friends. Peggy had the gift of gab and never met a stranger who soon would be a friend. Peggy will now be with her love of her life and husband, Bob. She has waited a long time and is going home. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends but never forgotten.

Survivors include: her daughters, Shirley Wyatt, Barbara Saam, Sharon Kimling, Laurie (Gary) Straub, Susan (Paul) Roznowski; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons-in-law, Thomas Saam Sr, Harvey Parker, sister, Betty Mering and a grandson, Jeremy Saam.
