Ronald Lavern Schlump

Ronald Lavern Schlump, 60 yrs, of Ida, MI, died in a tragic car accident on Tuesday March 15, 2022. Friends and family may call at East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, Monroe, MI, on Monday March 21, 2022, from 11AM until the services at 2PM. Pastor Curtis Garland will officiate. Burial will be in East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Ida, MI.

Born May 28, 1961, in Toledo, OH. Ronald was the son of Lavern "Pete" and Pauline (Friedrich) Schlump. He was a 1979 Ida High School Graduate that later earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo. Ronald married Pamela Zeiler on November 2, 1984, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI. He was a Bio. Tech. for First Solar for 8 yrs. He was a member of the NRA and East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church. Ronald was Mr. fix it and loved hunting and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include: his wife, Pamela; daughters, Krista (Sergio Jr.) Sernas, Karynn (Matthew) Gunn; mother, Pauline Schlump; siblings, Rick (Karen) Schlump, Randy Schlump, Debra Galbreath, Donna (Rickie) Derby, Dawn (Ron) Wobser; grandchildren, Adrian, Gabriel, Jaydon, Chloe and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Pete and grandparents, Edward and Louise Friedrich and Carl and Mildred Schlump.
