David Jerome Balcerzak

David Jerome Balcerzak, 79 years of Temperance, MI, died Thursday October 19, 2023, in Monroe Springs under the care of ProMedica Hospice. Per David’s wishes, there will be no services, cremation has occurred.

Born June 18, 1944, in Monroe, MI, David was the son of Casimer and Esther (Kortas) Balcerzak. He attended Bedford High School. He worked as a roofer, truck driver and many other jobs throughout his life. He loved working outside, gardening, throwing horseshoes and gambling.  He lived the last 17 years with his brother and sister-in-law Sharon in Temperance. He loved his many outdoor cats and the family dog Foxy who misses him terribly.

Survivors include: his brother, John, many cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma, parents and siblings, Eugene, Kenneth, and Theresa.
