Delores “Dee” Ann Denniss

Delores “Dee” Ann Denniss - 82 years of Petersburg, MI – passed away, with her husband and children by her side, on October 15, 2023.

She was the daughter of Helena Sharrock of Deerfield, MI, who preceded her in death.

Dee worked for Sharon Manufacturing Company and later retired from Summerfield Schools as a custodian in 2003. Her life was spent the way she enjoyed – at her home with her family.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching TV, playing Rummy, and baking (her pies were the best).  Her best friend was her dog Sophia Helena and they both enjoyed eating Nutter Butter Cookies and Popsicles.

Delores is survived by her husband of forty-three years Thomas, her children Robert and Christine Steinbrecher, and Cindy Steinbrecher and Tom Dion Jr., her numerous grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her husband’s children and their families.  She was preceded in death by three brothers Harley, Sherman, and Marvin Sharrock.

No services are scheduled, and cremation has taken place.  The family will have a Remembrance get together at a later date.
