Jeffrey Earl Roose

Jeffrey Earl Roose – 69 years of Ida, MI – died on Sunday March 5, 2023, at Toledo Hospital.  Friends may call at Capaul Funeral Home (Ida, MI) on Sunday March 12, 2023, from 3pm until 8pm.  Jeffrey will lie-in-state at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (Ida, MI) on Monday March 13, 2023, from 10am until the funeral service commences at 11am.  Burial will take place at Rath Cemetery (Monroe, MI) immediately following the funeral service.  Pastor Aaron Werner will officiate.

Born on February 23, 1954 – in Kenton, OH – Jeffrey was the son of Richard and Margaret (Nugent) Roose.  He was a Bowsher High School Graduate and obtained an Associate Degree at University of Toledo.  After graduating, Jeffrey decided to pursue a career in construction working with his family as a floor layer.  In addition, he was a member of Union Local #248 (Toledo, OH).  Jeffrey married Jean Pullou on July 3, 1982, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.  When he wasn’t working, Jeffrey enjoyed playing and watching hockey, working on stained glass, camping, National Parks, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Survivors include – his wife Jean, his son Thomas Roose, his daughter Elizabeth Roose, his brothers Tim (Diane) and Scott Roose, and his sisters Susan (Bob) Middleton and Sandy (Larry) Walton.  Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents.
