Jeffrey Jonathon Piotter
February 12, 1989 - February 18, 2023
Jeffrey Jonathon Piotter – 34 years of Milan, MI – died unexpectedly Saturday February 18, 2023, at the hands of a drunk driver, on his way home from work (US23 Southbound). Visitation will take place at Capaul Funeral Home (Ida, MI) on Sunday February 26, 2023 from 11am until the funeral service commences at 3pm. Cremation will take place after the services.
Born February 12, 1989 – in Adrian, MI – Jeffrey was the son of Jeffrey L. and Christine (Light) Piotter. He was a 2007 Summerfield High School Graduate. He went on to marry Heather Haddix, September 16th 2017. From this union, a daughter Harper was born (July 21st, 2019) and an unborn child is to be expected (May 2023). For 3 years, Jeffrey worked as a line worker and a Hi-Lo Operator for Ford Motor Company at Wayne Stamping and Assembly (UAW Local 900). When Jeffrey wasn't working, he was his daughter's hero and wife's best friend. He enjoyed growing their home business, planning their future homestead, fishing, and watching the Detroit Lions. Spending quality time with family and friends, whom he loved so dearly, was also a very important part of Jeffrey's life.
Survivors include – his wife Heather, daughter Harper J. Piotter, unborn baby “Sticky” due May 2023, parents Jeff and Christine Piotter, in-laws Glenn Haddix and Holly Wood, brothers Brandon and Cody (Mackinze Jordan) Piotter, sister Amanda (Brad) Mehan (Stephen Spangler), maternal grandparents John and Denise Drewior, paternal grandmother Shirley Piotter, along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many more. Jeffrey was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Bob Light, paternal grandfather Kenneth Piotter, and best friend Matthew Apley.
