Kathy Lynn Hicks (Notario), 74 yrs, of Petersburg, MI, died Thursday September 28, 2023, in the University of Michigan Hospital. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, on Thursday October 5, 2023, from 2-8PM. All other services are private.

Born October 4, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio. Kathy was the daughter of Armand and Dorothy (Meek) Notario. She was a 1966 Ida high school Graduate. Kathy married Gary Hicks on December 16, 1967, in Monroe, MI. Gary died August 1, 2007. She was a Customer Service Lead for Tenneco for over 30 yrs. Retiring in May 2015. Kathy was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Petersburg, MI, who loved to cook, bake, take care of the family dogs, travel and spend time with family. “She took care of everyone” and

was always there with a pan of lasagna or a tray of cookies.

Survivors include: children, Bret (Cristy) Hicks, Michelle (Ralph) Harrington; sister, Sandy (Terry) Hixson; sister-in-law, Judy Notario and grandchildren, Nicholas and Katie Hicks, and Parker and Quinn Harrington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Michael Notario.
