Marsi Jo Gilbert

Marsi Jo Gilbert, 54, of Dundee, MI passed away on January 17th, 2023, at her home.

Born January 8, 1969, to Sidney and Mary Jo (Kesler) Gilbert and grew up in Dundee, MI. She graduated from Dundee High School in 1987 and received her Associates of Commerce Degree from Monroe County Community College in 1990.

Marsi was a happy, outgoing person who enjoyed watching sports with her father, baking, spending time outdoors, and attending family gatherings. She loved sharing her baked goods with friends and family.  

Marsi was a dedicated employee of Trinity Heath Systems for almost 29 years, making numerous good friends during her time there.

Marsi is survived by her father, Sidney Gilbert, and her extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jo Gilbert, her maternal grandparents (Thayer and Edith Kesler) and her paternal grandparents (Owen and Eileen Gilbert).

Visitation will take place at Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI on Monday January 23, 2022 from 2-8PM. Visitation also will be held on Tuesday January 24, 2022 from 10 AM until the services at 11AM. Pastor Aaron Werner of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dundee, MI.
