Mary Alice Lemerand

Mary Alice Lemerand, 91 years old, joined her heavenly Father, on Saturday October 7th, 2023. Mary was born on March 14th, 1932, in Deerfield, Mi to Volney and Mary Payne, both deceased. She was preceded in death by her 5 siblings. On June 20th, 1959, she married Rolland Lemerand, who died in October of 1998. They were married 39 years. Mary and Rollie had 3 children, Jean (Carey) Rakich, Brenda (Jimmy) Johnson, and Diane Lemerand (Rollie Lee). She also has 5 grandchildren, Derick (Kelly), Bridget, Brittany (Michael), Nick, and Jessica. She also has a great grandchild on the way. Mary was the last surviving aunt for many of her nieces and nephews. Mary Alice loved to crochet, play cards especially Euchre, crossword puzzles and spend time with family and grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 12th from 2pm-8pm with the Rosary being recited at 7pm. Mary will lie in state on Friday, October 13th, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Deerfield MI, from 10am until the Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. They will then proceed to St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Rollie.
