Michael “Mike” Terrance Tyrrell

Michael “Mike” Terrance Tyrrell, 79 yrs, of Petersburg, MI, died Wednesday August 16, 2023, at Toledo, Hospital, Toledo, OH. There will be a memorial gathering on Friday August 25, 2023, from 2-7PM at the American Legion Post 392, 105 West River Street, Deerfield, MI, 49238, with military honors at 3:30PM. Cremation has occurred.

Born October 7, 1943, in Toledo, OH. Mike was the son of Charles “Carl” Tyrrell and Eleanor (Keeler). He was a 1961 Morenci Area High School Graduate. He married Nancy Arnold on August 3, 1968. He served with the National Guard. He drove trucks for various companies, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the American Legion post 392, Deerfield, MI, The Moose lodge of Sylvania, OH and the Eagles Lodge, Morenci, MI. He loved to hunt, fish, travel, being on pool leagues in Petersburg, spending time with friends and family and making red wine. 

Survivors include: his wife, Nancy; sons, Michael (Lana) Tyrrell II, Gordon (Erin) Tyrrell; siblings, Joseph (Catherine) Tyrrell, Dianne (Richard) Greider, Jean (Perry) Pirooz and granddaughters, Courtney, Lindsey, Brookelynn and Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to: The American Kidney Fund or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
