Ronald Gene Gerber

Ronald Gene Gerber, 73 yrs., of LaSalle, MI, died Thursday January 5, 2023 at the University of Michigan Hospital. Friends may gather at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Mi, Wednesday January 11, 2023, from 2-8PM. There will be a gathering on Thursday January 12, 2023, from 10 AM until the memorial service at 11 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Temperance, MI. Pastor Robyn Kistemaker will officiate. Burial of cremains will take place later at Whiteford Union Cemetery, Lambertville, MI.

Born July 16, 1949, in Monroe, MI. Ronald was the son of Robert and Delores (Navarre) Gerber. He was a 1967 Ida high School Graduate that later attended Monroe County Community College. He married Terry Wollam on April 17, 1970, in Monroe, Mi. Ronald worked for J&R Farm Tractor as a mechanic for 36 yrs., retiring in 2012.  He attended St. Luke Lutheran Church. 

Survivors include: his wife Terry Gerber; children, Neal (Melanie Barnes) Gerber, Brandy (Craig Throne) Gerber, Vanessa (Ryan) Bird; sisters, Beverly Gerber, Brenda Wertenberger, Nancy Gates; grandchildren, Ashley and Christina Gerber, Tristan and Trinity Wilder. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Richard Gates.
