William “Bill” James Petrovish Sr.

William “Bill” James Petrovish Sr., 87 yrs, of Petersburg, MI, died in his home under the care of Hospice of Lenawee on Saturday September 30, 2023. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Sunday October 15, 2023, from 2-8PM. There will be a visitation on Monday October 16, 2023, (casual dress) at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, from 10AM until the services at 11AM. Pastor William Fick will officiate. Burial will take place in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg, MI.

Born August 1, 1936, in Monroe, MI. Bill was the son of Joseph and Ethel (Bolster) Petrovish. He was a 1954 West Branch High School Graduate. He married Donna Good on September 24, 1955, in West Branch, MI. As an avid outdoorsman you could fine him sitting with his guitar around a campfire, up in a tree stand or on the water with fishing pole in hand. He worked for the Ford Motor Company for 30 yrs, and later in his retirement years worked for Monroe Dodge. He was a member of UAW, former member of the Moose Lodge, Milan, MI, and lifetime member of Dundee Sportsman Club.

Survivors include: wife, Donna; children, Bill (Mickie) Petrovish Jr., Debra (David)Scott, Diane (Jim) Cheap, Denise (Bud) Wylie; siblings, James Petrovish, Shirley Casey; grandchildren, Nathan (Caroline) Leonard, Christine Scott, Marissa (Brad) Bray, Douglas, Daniel, and Sarah Wylie and great-grandchild, Olivia Bray. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, David Scott and siblings, Joseph Petrovish, Delores Pruitt and Barbara Perry.
