Janice Diane Winkelman (Holtcamp)

Janice Diane Winkelman (Holtcamp), 79 yrs of LaSalle, MI, died Tuesday October 8, 2024, surrounded by her family under the care of Heartland Hospice. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Tuesday October 15, 2024, from 2-8PM. She will lie-in-state on Wednesday October 16m 2024, from 10 AM until the services at 11 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, MI. Pastor Aaron Werner will officiate. The burial will be at East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Ida, MI.

Born December 7, 1944, in Monroe, MI. Janice was the daughter of Robert Holtcamp and Grace Hyde. She was a 1963 River Rouge High School Graduate. She married Robert Winkelman on August 8, 1964, in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Ida, MI. Janice was an office manager for Toledo Oxygen and Equipment for 19 years, retiring in 1998. Janice was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, where she was past secretary and taught Bible School. She loved to travel with her husband Bob and amongst her favorite getaways were cruises to Alaska and Hawaii.  They traveled across the country for many years visiting many Presidential Libraries along the way. She also loved crocheting, bowling, fireworks, fishing and crafting with diamond dots.

Survivors include: her husband, Robert; children, Michael (Robin) Winkelman, Michelle (Douglas) Smith; siblings, Robert (Sunchow) Holtcamp, Donald Holtcamp, Carol Howey; grandchildren, Robert, Megan, Ryan (Samantha), Corey, Logan, Brenden and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Barbara Crawford, Sandra Holtcamp and Richard Holtcamp.
