William “Bill” Henry Gove

William “Bill” Henry Gove, 79 yrs. of Petersburg, died Tuesday July 16, 2024, in Hampton Manor of Dundee, MI. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Monday July 22, 2024, from 10AM until the Memorial Service at 12PM at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI. Pastor Janice Locke will officiate. Cremation has occurred.

Born August 7, 1944, in Toledo, OH. Bill was the son of Byron and Anna (Onisko) Gove. He married Carolyn Hempel on October 4, 1969, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Monroe, MI. Carolyn died December 23, 2024. Bill was a parts guy for Bohl equipment and Bohl Crane his entire career. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Sylvania and the Eagles of Toledo and Adrian, a master woodworker and loved to work on cars.

Survivors include: a son, Brian (Mindy) Gove; a sister, Betty Fischer and grandson, Alex Gove. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings, Fred and Mary Ellen Gove.
