William Herbert Geyman

William Herbert Geyman passed away peacefully surrounded by his children at the VA hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Friday February 9, 2024, from 2-8PM, with Rosary at 7PM. He will lie-in-state on Saturday February 10, 2024, from 10AM until the Mass of the Resurrection at 11AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Paris, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI.. Fr. Don Geyman will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Ida, MI.

He is preceded by his wife Judith Ann Geyman; parents Edwin and Jane Geyman; sister Judy Geyman and brothers Bob and Dave Geyman; sister-in-law Barb Geyman and brother-in-law Orville Wenrick.

Bill is survived by his children Shawn (Michele) Geyman, Jamie (Chad) Bitz, Michael Geyman, Grandchildren Josh, Kaydence, Kymberlee, Kooper, Jack, Ashley, Edwin, Anthony, and Isaac.  Sisters Mary (Lou) Fischer, Shirley Wenrick, Sue (Keith) Kurth and a brother Father Don Geyman.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bill served in the Army from 1966 – 1968.  Bill also served for the Ida Fire Department, retiring as Assistance Chief after 20 years of service.

Bill has gone home to be with his wife Judy, parents, and family.  Bill cherished the time spent with family and his grandchildren.

Memorials can be made to the Ed Geyman Memorial Fund through the Ida Volunteer Fire Department.
